Anthropic has accused Chinese technology giant Alibaba (HKGEX: 9988) of conducting what it describes as the largest known attempt to extract capabilities from its Claude artificial intelligence models, while simultaneously accelerating investment in compute infrastructure across the Asia Pacific region.
