Mexico, which served as home for ancient civilisations, particularly the Olmecs, Maya, and Aztecs, is now becoming a host to a new kind of civilisation: a digital-reliant one. The country's data centre industry is experiencing a remarkable surge, positioning the country as a key player in Latin America's digital infrastructure landscape. With the global market projected to reach US$116.43 billion by 2027, with a robust annual growth rate of 14.6%, Mexico has distinguished itself as the second country in LATAM, following Brazil, to host major cloud providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
