One of India’s fastest growing data centre startups Yotta Infrastructure has announced the appointment of Dr. Sayed Peerzade as the executive vice president and chief cloud officer of the company.

The former group CIO of Reliance Entertainment – a division of Reliance Group (NSE: RELIANCE) – will lead Yotta on the path of digital transformation and cloud innovation with his extensive experience across sectors such as media, broadcasting, data centre, telecom, BFSI and retail industries.

In his new role, Dr. Peerzade will drive Yotta’s cloud business with a focus on strengthening a portfolio of services, including Yotta enterprise cloud, hybrid multi-cloud, cloud connect services, and cloud-based managed services.

Dr. Peerzade will also help with developing industry-specific solutions available on IaaS, PaaS, SaaS models.

Apart from spearheading the company’s cloud initiatives for business growth and managing the cloud roadmap, Dr. Peerzade will also be responsible for crafting solutions on the entire cloud stack – be it public, private, or hybrid.

He will bring all the cloud and related services under one-single roof and create a complete cloud ecosystem including edge nodes, cloud caching services, and more.

In his previous role, Dr. Peerzade is known to have designed the first private cloud IaaS model and hybrid cloud, driving the digital business profitability for Reliance Entertainment.

He is a veteran with over 20 years of experience in national and global level Technology operations, product development and digital transformations. He is a PhD. holder in Digital transformation technologies and specialises in business ideation through digital transformations.
