France selected for new $600m EU supercomputer

The deployment of the Jean Zay supercomputer in France will join a growing list of machines in the Union located across 10 member states.

The Jules Verne Consortium, a French-based collaboration of academic and industrial partners, has been selected to host one of the European High-Performance Computing (EuroHPC) exascale supercomputers that are scheduled to be deployed in the coming years.
