The Tech Capital and Arch:Conexus have recently hosted an exclusive roundtable discussion that illuminated the critical intersection of green regulations, artificial intelligence, and data centres.
Last October, The Tech Capital and Arch:Conexus hosted an exclusive roundtable discussion that illuminated the critical intersection of green regulations, artificial intelligence, and data centres. The event, which addressed both challenges and opportunities in this rapidly evolving landscape, was colocated with The Tech Capital’s first-ever Media Night.
The roundtable brought together experts in law, investment, and digital infrastructure to foster a collaborative dialogue. Attendees gained crucial insights into the regulatory landscape, compliance strategies, and methods to align business operations with ESG targets. The discussion also explored how organisations could transform these regulatory challenges into competitive advantages.
The event highlighted how hyperscalers’ stated ESG ambitions were driving change, and how EU Directives like the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive were reshaping the business environment. These directives mandated rigorous environmental and social reporting and due diligence across supply chains. Despite the far-reaching implications, many global corporates and investors remained unprepared for this new reality at the time.
Seating was limited and subject to prior approval. The roundtable was conducted under Chatham House Rules to encourage open and frank discussion, providing attendees with a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue about the future of sustainable digital infrastructure.
