1) $40bn: AI Infrastructure Partnership to acquire Aligned Data Centers (2025)

London, UK – 22 July 2026 – The Tech Capital has opened registration for the 6th annual International Finance Forum (IFF27), which will return to One Great George Street in Westminster, London, on 16 November 2027.
The flagship forum will convene senior leaders from across investment, banking, digital infrastructure, energy, technology and law to examine how capital is being deployed, risk is being assessed and infrastructure is being delivered as artificial intelligence drives a new cycle of global demand.
As the scale and cost of AI infrastructure continue to rise, established assumptions around valuation, underwriting, power, capacity and returns are being reconsidered. IFF27 will explore where capital is moving next, which business models remain investable and what will be required to finance and execute the next generation of digital infrastructure at scale.
The programme will bring together investors, operators, lenders, hyperscalers, energy providers, technology companies and advisers through a focused series of keynotes, interviews, panels, debates and private discussions.
Rather than separating capital providers, infrastructure builders and their advisers into parallel conversations, IFF27 is designed to bring the full deal ecosystem into the same room. The programme will prioritise informed discussion around the commercial, financial and operational decisions shaping data centres, cloud and AI infrastructure, connectivity and the wider digital economy.
Previous editions of the International Finance Forum have welcomed participants from more than 45 countries. The event’s speaker faculty has included senior leaders from organisations such as DigitalBridge, AirTrunk, Blue Owl Capital, Ares Management, AdaniConneX, Princeton Digital Group, Aligned Data Centers, DATA4, Applied Digital, Fidelity Investments, Wells Fargo, Citi and HSBC.
João Marques Lima, founder and managing director of The Tech Capital, said: “The scale of investment required to support artificial intelligence is extraordinary, but demand alone will not determine the winners of the next cycle. Capital discipline, access to energy, credible execution and the ability to price risk properly will become increasingly decisive.
“IFF27 will for the sixth year running bring together the people making those decisions: those deploying capital, underwriting transactions, building infrastructure and advising the market. The aim is to create a focused day of serious discussion, informed disagreement and meaningful relationship-building around what comes next.”
The full agenda and 2027 speaker faculty will be announced progressively, with the programme expected to address capital deployment, infrastructure financing, energy strategy, AI capacity, market consolidation, emerging investment models and the changing relationship between technology companies and physical infrastructure providers.
Registration has opened with a limited Launch Release Forum Pass priced at £995 plus VAT. The launch rate will remain available until 31 December 2026, or until the allocated number of passes has been sold.
The International Finance Forum will follow The Tech Capital Global Awards, taking place at One Great George Street on the evening of 15 November 2027. A separate announcement detailing the Awards programme will be published in due course.
