Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping the digital infrastructure landscape, driving unprecedented demand for compute, power and connectivity.
As the industry moves from early experimentation towards large-scale deployment, the decisions being made today by investors, developers and cloud providers will determine how the global AI infrastructure ecosystem evolves over the coming decade.
Later this month, many of those decision-makers will gather in Athens for The Tech Capital’s InfraAI Global Summit.
Taking place from 30 March to 1 April on the Athenian Riviera, the event will bring together senior leaders from across the digital infrastructure ecosystem, including investors, data centre operators, hyperscale cloud providers, energy companies and policymakers.
The summit comes at a time when the pace of AI infrastructure investment is accelerating rapidly. Hyperscale cloud platforms are expanding their compute capacity at an unprecedented scale, while infrastructure funds and sovereign investors are allocating increasing amounts of capital towards the physical systems required to support artificial intelligence.

Power availability has quickly emerged as one of the most significant constraints facing the sector. Developers across Europe and North America are increasingly competing for grid capacity, renewable power agreements and long-term energy supply as they seek to support the electricity requirements of large-scale AI clusters.
At the same time, the financial structures underpinning AI infrastructure are evolving. Institutional capital, private equity and infrastructure funds are all evaluating how best to deploy capital into projects that differ significantly from traditional data centre developments.
Supply chain considerations are also playing a growing role. The availability of GPUs, advanced cooling technologies and high-capacity electrical infrastructure has become a key determinant of how quickly new AI facilities can be delivered.
These challenges are expected to form the core of discussions at the Athens summit.
The event will convene senior executives responsible for capital allocation, infrastructure development and energy procurement, alongside policymakers examining the role of digital infrastructure in national economic strategies.
Across keynote sessions, panel discussions and private roundtables, participants will explore how AI infrastructure projects are being financed, where new compute capacity is likely to emerge and how operators are addressing the operational demands associated with high-density AI workloads.
Athens itself has become an increasingly relevant location for such discussions. Positioned at the crossroads of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the region has emerged as a growing hub for subsea connectivity and digital infrastructure investment.
As global demand for compute capacity continues to grow, the industry’s focus is shifting from speculation towards execution.
Later this month, many of the organisations responsible for building that infrastructure will be in the same room.
